Canine Vaccinations
Required Vacinations:
* You must request this vaccination in addition to the regular vaccinations when you visit your veterinary clinic. Bordetella must be given one week prior to boarding.
Feline Vaccinations
Required Vaccinations:
**Proof of vaccinations is required on an annual basis, in the form of a veterinary signed certificate upon the arrival of your pet or you can fax them to us at (709) 747-5466. *When faxing vaccinations please call to ensure they came through before arrival.
** For those who are against vaccinations, blood titers are required by your veterinarian no more then one month prior to boarding. **
Illness:
Animals can get sick just like humans. They can get a "doggie flu" just like people get a cold. Here at Markwin Pet Resort, our staff will try their best to prevent your pet from getting sick, however, pets can still become ill. Our staff does not like to see any animal ill during their stay or when they leave to go home. Our staff here at the Resort is trained to treat minor injuries, diarrhea, and coughing. Diarrhea is treated with Metronidazole, and coughing is treated with common cough syrup. Should any illness persist or get worst during your pets stay with us, they will seek veterinary as soon as possible and at your expense. Markwin Pet Resort tries to operate at the highest level of health and requests that should any conditions arise after your pet arrives home, you please notify our staff to make them aware of the situation.
Emergencies:
In the event of an emergency at Markwin Pet Resort, the staff will contact the emergency contact immediately, and will not hesitate bringing your pet to nearest vet. In such cases, you as the owner are responsible for all expenses.
